Exciting news for Boulder County and Broomfield County residents was released recently and Conoco Philips made their announcement to build a new global training center on the former Storage Tek property. The training center is expected to be a hub for research and development of renewable energy and carbon fuels recovery. Boulder and Broomfield County businesses are optimistic that the new Conoco Phillips training center will bring thousands or employees to the area each year in addition to a wave of permanent employee relocations to the Broomfield area. This should be a big economic boost for Broomfield hotels, Broomfield rentals and apartments, and local Broomfield County businesses that support the relocation of employees and workers to the area. The Conoco Phillips site is expected to be redeveloped over the next five to seven years.
